Nancy Song, MD

Adult Epileptologist (Neurologist)

Dr. Song is an assistant professor in neurology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of seizure disorders and epilepsy.

Dr. Song received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Amherst College in Massachusetts. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then completed her medical internship and neurology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire where she served as Chief Resident in Neurology. She then completed a two-year clinical fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (New York Presbyterian) in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy.

Dr. Song has a special interest in the management of medically refractory epilepsy, as well as management of pregnant patients with epilepsy. Her goal as a neurologist and epilepsy specialist is to help guide patients through the complexities of diagnosis and management using the most up-to-date scientific data with a meaningful, compassionate approach.
