Webex is available for Rutgers Guest accounts as authorized by the Guest’s “meeting sponsor“.  Reach out to your meeting sponsor to authorize your account.

Once the meeting sponsor has authorized your account:

  1. Go to the Rutgers NetID Management page.
  2. Click “Service Activation” on the left side of the screen.
  3. Check the box for Webex.
  4. Click the “Activate Services” button.

External Collaborators

  • Test Your Connection
    To test your connection before any Webex meeting please go to  Webex’s “Try out a real Webex online meeting” page.
  • Join a Webex Meeting
    Webex meetings can be attended from the Rutgers Webex meeting page by entering your meeting number in the join prompt.  If you have a video system and wish to call into a meeting the format is:  [Meeting number]@rutgers.webex.com
