I am an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Rutgers University, Camden. I received my PhD in Applied Psychology at New York University with Dr. Catherine Tamis-LeMonda.
As a developmental psychologist, I work with young children, families, and teachers from diverse backgrounds. My research focuses on language and cognitive development, language interaction, home learning environment, and sociocultural and ecological contexts. I also conduct applied work through developing community-based, early language interventions and language assessment tools.
