Maribel Vazquez, a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, was appointed as one of three faculty directors at Rutgers-New Brunswick charged with engaging diverse scholars from three targeted groups: tenure track faculty, non-tenure track faculty, and STEM faculty. These directors will drive and develop outreach and community-building activities, and program delivery.
