Step 1: Two major scales!
Sing the TWO major scales listed for your preferred voice part. You can sing on “da” or solfege, whichever is most comfortable. If you’re not sure if you are a soprano 1 or 2, pick whichever set of starting pitches feels best.

Step 2: One chromatic scale!
For this section, you’ll sing an 8-note chromatic scale. Begin on the lower note and ascend in half steps to the destination pitch. Take a breath, then descend in half steps back to the starting pitch. As a soprano, you’ll start on an F and ascend to a C

Sing any version of Happy Birthday to yourself in any key!
