Journal club: How to read a research paper? LUNCH provided 3/01 @ 12:30pm

Hello SACNISTAS!
The Rutgers SACNAS would like to invite you to our first Journal Club! The goal is to expose undergraduate students to understand how scientists communicate their research. This workshop will teach students how to interpret a research article and dissect the information in the most effective way. Our first meeting will take place March 2, 2020 at 12:30 pm in the BME department!
 
Lunch will be provided 😀
This will be a great experience for anyone to learn:
  1. How to identify the key findings of a paper,
  2. How are papers structured,
  3. How to identify the hypothesis & main question(s),
  4. Understand the experimental design,
  5. How to interpret the data & figures
The workshop will be lead by:

Do not forget to bring a research paper of your choosing!
