The\u00a0Rutgers\u00a0SACNAS<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>would like to invite you to our first\u00a0Journal Club<\/span><\/b>! The goal is to expose undergraduate students to understand how scientists communicate their research. This workshop will teach students\u00a0how to interpret a research article and dissect the information in the most effective way<\/span><\/i>. Our first meeting will take place\u00a0March 2, 2020<\/span><\/b>\u00a0at 12:30 pm in the BME department!<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

Lunch will be provided \ud83d\ude00<\/span><\/i><\/div>\n

This will be a\u00a0great experience for anyone<\/span><\/u>\u00a0to learn:<\/div>\n

  1. How to identify the key findings of a paper,<\/li>\n
  2. How are papers structured,<\/li>\n
  3. How to identify the hypothesis & main question(s),<\/li>\n
  4. Understand the experimental design,<\/li>\n
  5. How to interpret the data & figures<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n
