High Path Avian Influenza: Importation of Poultry, Hatching Eggs, Manure information

Below are link’s to resources and time relevant information I have posted on the evolving high path avian influenza in commercial and backyard poultry flocks in the United States.The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) first confirmed findings of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 in wild birds in South Carolina and North Carolina in February. Since then detections have occurred in more than ten States including Delaware, Maryland and New York.
