Dr. Shapiro see patients in his clinic on most Thursdays and Fridays (and occasionally Mondays) on the 11th floor of the Ambulatory Medical Pavilion (AMP), located in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences offices at 210 Somerset St in New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Shapiro sees patients only with problems related to the ear and brain\/base of skull. Though a formal referral is not required, patients must have been seen previously by another medical specialist (such as another ENT physician, pediatrician, audiologist, or neurosurgeon) to be scheduled. This is required to minimize wait times for those in need of specialized care, as there are few doctors trained in this skill set.
