In the first one<\/a>, Huan made a surprising discovery that the excitation of fluorescently tagged proteins leads to condensate-mediated crosslinking, resulting in a rapid solidification of condensates under common imaging conditions. She explored numerous implications of this finding both in vitro and in live cells.<\/p>\n In the second preprint<\/a>, Bineet investigated the effect of alpha-synuclein on condensates of tau, two proteins often co-aggregate in neurodegeneration.
