<\/a><\/p>\nOur Advising Philosophy<\/span><\/h1>\nThe School of Nursing\u2019s Office\u00a0of\u00a0Student\u00a0Advising\u00a0&\u00a0Retention\u00a0provides academic advisement\u00a0for\u00a0students in the Traditional 4-Year Undergraduate program. The Office of Student Advising & Retention offers holistic support & guidance to\u00a0students throughout\u00a0their academic journey. In partnership with their advisor, students will learn the skills to navigate the complexities of a rigorous nursing program. The Office of\u00a0Student Advising & Retention\u00a0assists\u00a0students in balancing co-curriculars, general education requirements, and prerequisite courses\u00a0via course registration and retention initiatives. Through a shared advising model, students will receive additional\u00a0support from an academic program director, who provides mentorship to students\u00a0on nursing-specific concerns and career planning.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n <\/p>\n
