Participation in this program requires an ongoing commitment to excellence, accountability, and professional growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Program Expectations<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">SN-EOF scholars are expected to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prioritize academics and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA as outlined in the EOF contract.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in required SN-EOF components, which may include:\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-College Summer Institute (for incoming students)<\/li>\n<li>Academic counseling and advisement sessions each semester<\/li>\n<li>SN-EOF Counseling Seminar (spring semester)<\/li>\n<li>Tutoring and support courses as recommended (e.g., A&amp;P I &amp; II, Organic Biochemistry, Pharmacotherapeutics)<\/li>\n<li>Enrichment opportunities such as the Pre-Junior Clinical Summer Program and NCLEX preparation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Attend all assigned sessions and activities. Excessive absences from any required support class may affect EOF grant eligibility.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate professionalism in academic, clinical, and campus settings, reflecting the values of the School of Nursing and the nursing profession.<\/li>\n<li>Limit outside employment<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to no more than 10 hours per week during the academic year to ensure focus on academic success.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Program Policies<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Meeting Requirements:<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Students must meet regularly with their assigned SN-EOF counselor. Individual student needs determine the frequency of these visits and may vary based on academic year, academic standing, and level of support required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Graduation Planning:<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Students are expected to regularly review and update their graduation plan in collaboration with their SN-EOF counselor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Campus Affiliation:<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Students who transfer their affiliation from the Newark campus to another Rutgers location will forfeit EOF program eligibility, including the EOF grant and SN-EOF support services.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Grant Eligibility:<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Continued eligibility for EOF funding is contingent upon compliance with program requirements. Students may be placed on hold or be ineligible for funding if they fail to meet participation or academic standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Contract Requirement<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6>All SN-EOF participants must review and sign the SN-EOF Student Contract at the start of every semester. This formal agreement outlines the student\u2019s responsibilities and the program\u2019s expectations.
