Dr. Darabos was awarded a grant from AICR

Dr. Darabos has been awarded an Early Career Investigator-Initiated Grant from the American Institute for Cancer Research. Stemming from our prior research on associations between the social and built environment on loneliness, this current project will examine how time spent in day-to-day environments (e.g., home, work, activities) of young adult cancer survivors is associated with engagement in health behaviors (e.g., substance use, physical activity), perceived stress, and well-being.

Grant Title: Real-time tracking of neighborhood environments and activity spaces on health behaviors, perceived stress, and well-being among young adults with cancer
Early Career-Investigator Grant (1470876)
Project Period: 01/01/2026-01/01/2027
