Additionally\, participants will have an opportunity to do pair-wise observations with a peer to give and receive feedback on their teaching.\n\n\nValues Affirmation Interventions (VAI)\n\nSIMPLE Design Framework Group facilitated by: Elin Wicks\nA Values Affirmation Intervention (VAI) is a brief psychological intervention that can be implemented in or outside of the classroom. These interventions have been shown to increase students’ feelings of belongingness and self-identify\, and reduce inequitable assessment outcomes for students from historically excluded groups. Participants will learn the theory and motivation behind VAIs\, and receive guidance in implementing a VAI\n\n\n\n
