We are currently recruiting curious, collaborative, and motivated individuals to join our research team:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Undergraduate students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We do not have any openings at this time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Graduate students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are open to first-year Ph.D. and master&#8217;s students who are currently part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/molbiosci.rutgers.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Graduate Programs in Molecular Biosciences<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/microbiology.rutgers.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microbial Biology Graduate Program<\/a> at Rutgers University. Please contact Dr. Liu directly to discuss potential rotation projects.<\/li>\n<li>If you are a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>prospective<\/strong><\/span> Ph.D. student, please refer to the graduate program websites linked above for information on how to apply. Application deadlines are typically in December of each year. Students must be admitted and enrolled through either the Molecular Biosciences or Microbial Biology PhD program, before they are eligible to join our lab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Postdoctoral research positions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to investigate molecular mechanisms of CRISPR-associated nucleotide signaling and develop CRISPR-based RNA detection tools<\/li>\n<li>You must have a Ph.D. in the field of biochemistry, structural biology, or molecular\/cell biology by the time you start the position.
