\nMetabolic regulation is a crucial determinant of cellular physiological activity. mTORC1 is a key player that can regulate cellular growth and metabolism. My current research interest focuses on how metabolic pathways are regulated in different phases of cell cycle and what role mTORC1 could play in this cell cycle phase-specific metabolic control. Understanding these mechanisms is important in the context of disease like cancer where altered metabolic regulation is critical, and could lead to new therapeutic targets.<\/p>\n
