The field of mental health intervention is discussed in this video as an urgent response
when people are unable to function or exhibit behaviors that are harmful to them or
others. Suicidal or homicidal thoughts, panic attacks, extremely depressive symptoms, or
a crisis situation are a few examples. In order to restrict the use of lethal means, this
video also emphasizes the value of crisis centers, therapy, and positive coping
mechanisms. In addition, the importance of recognizing suicide warning signs is
discussed, and resources like the national suicide prevention lifeline are provided.
