The physical, mental, and social effects of gun violence are discussed in this video,
\nalong with treatments for each. Gunshot wounds are among the physical effects that
\nmay also require medical attention, like physical therapy or an operation in a trauma
\ncenter. Additionally covered in the video were the mental effects, such as
\ntreatment-related depression and anxiety, as well as the social effects, such as
\nhampered emotional expression in children and impaired brain development. The
\ndisaster distress hotline is also included, which is a valuable resource for those impacted
\nby gun violence.<\/p>\n
