As Rutgers University kicks off the new school year this September, the WeatherWatcher Club will also be kicking off a new adventure! Starting by mid-September, the students of the club will be providing the forecast on the Tri-State Traffic Show with host Don Smith. The show live streams on Facebook and YouTube on Monday-Friday from 7AM-9AM. You can catch the specialized weather reports every half-hour starting at 7:15 AM. You may catch the show on those social media platforms by searching “Tri State Traffic Show” and also following along @ohdontraffic on Twitter.
This joint effort will not only help provide weather forecasts using the latest WSI MAX graphics system for the show, but it will also give valuable experience to our members. We would like to thank Don Smith for the opportunity, and we look forward to an exciting time ahead!
