Shrektospective

I’ve always loved Shrek and was bummed that ever since meme culture exploded on the internet, the movie never seemed to get proper credit. Shrek was an especially unique movie to me because I felt more represented by the character of Shrek than I’d ever felt watching other movies. All of these ideas resulted in me doing a retrospective on the movie so I could attempt to do it justice.

Brett Byll graduated from Rutgers in May 2021 with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Creative Writing. Will be attending Syracuse University this fall for a Masters degree in Media Studies.
