What characterizes a road trip? Can you expect the unexpected? What happens when things go wrong? Through interviews with my family members and a spring break road trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, I answered these questions and more. And what did I learn? That it all works out.

Katie Miller is a senior majoring in English with minors in Anthropology and History.
