A Film By Priyanka Sarkhel

The world is crumbling around us, and yet, Generation Z is expected to go through the motions and somehow learn to survive in a quasi-apocalypse. 100 Seconds to Midnight is a reflection on what it is like to be a part of the generation that is inheriting irreversible climate change, the possibility of nuclear warfare, rising racial and gender disparities, and massive income inequality.

Priyanka Sarkhel is currently a junior majoring in Journalism and Media Studies with a double minor in Creative Writing and Cinema Studies. She hopes to one day become a filmmaker/documentarian. When she is not writing editorials or documentary scripts, Priyanka runs a live radio show where she plays her favorite hip-hop/r&b music.
