“I Wish You Knew” is a profoundly personal exploration born from the raw emotions of my poem surrounding an experience that too many individuals endure in silence – sexual assault. As the director and creator, I embarked on this project with the intention of transforming my own experience and pain into a source of solace for others. Through the lens of this short film, I aim to impart a message of resilience, solidarity, and the promise of illumination even in the darkest moments.

Raylyn Rivers is a freshman from Atlanta, Georgia, double majoring in Information Technology and communication. She plans to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
