 <\/p>\n

Did curiosity kill the cat<\/p>\n

Or was it complicity<\/p>\n

Or compromise?<\/p>\n

Perhaps all three plotted together.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The three villains tossed<\/p>\n

The body bindle like a hot potato,<\/p>\n

Ensuring the cat would not be let out of the bag.<\/p>\n

It was the terrifying feeling of<\/p>\n

when the water from the faucet suddenly turns hot.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A rustling came out of the bindle.<\/p>\n

A question remained:<\/p>\n

Was it dead?<\/p>\n

Was it alive?<\/p>\n

Fury rose in the villains\u2019 hearts<\/p>\n

At the docks<\/p>\n

Ready to toss the evidence.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Waves oscillated functionally<\/p>\n

around the crime<\/p>\n

Crashing louder, louder, louder<\/p>\n

Like courage beating a drum.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The deed done<\/p>\n

The fiends disappeared into the night,<\/p>\n

The waves rocking, crashing,<\/p>\n

Trying to scream their secret.<\/p>\n

If curiosity killed the cat,<\/p>\n

Why can you still hear the waves?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
