 <\/p>\n

The fallen tree by the riverbanks.<\/p>\n

It tried to catch the wind but failed.<\/p>\n

Could it be the weakness of its stem?<\/p>\n

The white bird flies around its fallen roots,<\/p>\n

A tall friend has once gone… Or now short.<\/p>\n

What must now happen to the fallen?<\/p>\n

They spread roots.<\/p>\n

The fallen tree takes on a new shape. It will not wait for the old.<\/p>\n

It creates something unique in its place.<\/p>\n

But fallen tree, must your roots take up so much space?<\/p>\n

Must you extend them so wide into the river?<\/p>\n

Can you just let the river flow!<\/p>\n

Fallen tree, must you be so blatant?<\/p>\n

Is this why you did not catch the wind?<\/p>\n

You desire attention, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

Did your expectations lead you here, tree?<\/p>\n

Did you know this is the path you would choose?<\/p>\n

Now you must think it was better to stay with no expectations.<\/p>\n

Tree, the birds use you as a short stool to watch the river.<\/p>\n

It bothers me.<\/p>\n

Tree, does it not bother you? Will you ever rise again?<\/p>\n

I now see the new sprouts by your sides.<\/p>\n

I walked by there to check on you, my friend!<\/p>\n

The beauty of your new self.<\/p>\n

Tree, you amaze me.<\/p>\n
