my eternal resting spot\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 in this blanket<\/p>\n

drinking\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0in the music<\/p>\n

of early\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0construction,<\/p>\n

thanking myself<\/p>\n

for opening\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 the window,<\/p>\n

the cold washing in,<\/p>\n

hammer and nail,<\/p>\n

footsteps\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0in grass,<\/p>\n

shouting nextdoor,<\/p>\n

in a lullaby of\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0late morning<\/p>\n

drowning out the<\/p>\n

chirping\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0alarm clock,<\/p>\n

and i\u00a0 \u00a0 drown<\/p>\n

in it, too.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

tell me please<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

do you hear the glass shattering again<\/p>\n

fist turned to open palm\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 bleeding in<\/p>\n

marbles\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0breathing in drywall dust<\/p>\n

that is\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 soft and fine and it is light<\/p>\n

and\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 when i watch it\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0settle<\/p>\n

the hand\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 the wall\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0the flower vase<\/p>\n

still\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0dare\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0to melt to nothing<\/p>\n

amplify\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 echo\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0sing\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0the crashing and<\/p>\n

burning\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 shining\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 it is the sun so<\/p>\n

i will be the moon, the flames\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 so\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0clear<\/p>\n

from up high i\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0could\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 walk through<\/p>\n

coming out unscathed\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0as you see me<\/p>\n
