The 55th Decision Sciences Institute<\/a> Annual Conference was a great success! Thanks to Tolga Aydinliyim<\/a> and the conference leadership team for putting together a wonderful program. I was also very proud to return to DSI as a 20-year member, a platinum sponsor (credits to Lian Qi<\/a> and RBS Supply Chain Management<\/a>), and most importantly, the conference chair for 2025 Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.<\/p>\n

With the new conference leadership Luv Sharma<\/a> (University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business<\/a>), Seokjun Youn<\/a> (University of Arizona<\/a>), Kathleen Iacocca<\/a> (Villanova University<\/a>), Sarah Sengupta, Ph.D.<\/a> (St. Cloud State University<\/a>), Sandun Perera<\/a> (University of Nevada, Reno<\/a>), Gang Li<\/a> (Bentley University<\/a>), John Visich<\/a> (Bryant University<\/a>), and Stephen Ostrom<\/a> (Arizona State University<\/a>), we are working diligently to develop the program for the 56th DSI Annual Conference under the theme of “Revolutionizing Decision-Making: Technology and Human Collaboration”. In addition to creating a new research track of “AI\/ML in Decision Making”, we will continue grow the pedagogical track of “AI and Technology in the Classroom” and host a mid-career workshop to support professional growth and networking for tenure-track faculty. We will also have keynote speakers to discuss the interaction of AI, ML, and healthcare, etc.<\/p>\n

It will be a full-pack program for next year’s conference and we look forward to seeing old and new friends at Orlando World Center Marriott<\/a>, November 22-24, 2025.<\/p>\n

Thank you, David Dobrzykowski<\/a> for your trust and friendship. I also look forward to working with DSI president Victor Prybutok<\/a>, forthcoming president Anthony Ross<\/a>, and executive director Vivian L Landrum<\/a> in the coming year.<\/p>\n
