{"id":741,"date":"2025-07-18T03:19:47","date_gmt":"2025-07-18T03:19:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/xin-ding\/?p=741"},"modified":"2025-11-28T17:14:50","modified_gmt":"2025-11-28T17:14:50","slug":"deans-research-professor-and-vice-chair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.rutgers.edu\/xin-ding\/deans-research-professor-and-vice-chair\/","title":{"rendered":"Dean&#8217;s research professor and vice chair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m very humbled to share two updates that reflect what drives my passion in academia: research and service.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd2c I was recently awarded Dean&#8217;s Research Professor at <a class=\"RDDECzWVUCtXdYiVyDTvKDbKcYqCBcxzBQcIRg \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/rutgers-business-school\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">Rutgers Business School<\/a> (2025-2028). Research continues to be the cornerstone of my academic journey. I\u2019m looking forward to collaborating with my colleagues at RBS to strengthen our research pipeline and grow our impact\u2014both in scholarly publications\ud83d\udcdc and funding\ud83d\udcb0 \u2014 over the coming years. Thanks to Dean <a class=\"RDDECzWVUCtXdYiVyDTvKDbKcYqCBcxzBQcIRg \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAAAGQi1EBgmkg_zxC3fOWJeLkQy1O9gzcVA8\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">Lei Lei<\/a> and RBS&#8217;s continuing support!<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udcc8 I&#8217;m also honored to take on a new service role as Vice Chair of the Department of Supply Chain Management, working alongside Chair Dr. <a class=\"RDDECzWVUCtXdYiVyDTvKDbKcYqCBcxzBQcIRg \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAAAFUhiIBRPr23U2QF4bjL5weOG6YbF9NQn8\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">Lian Qi<\/a> and Vice Chair Dr. <a class=\"RDDECzWVUCtXdYiVyDTvKDbKcYqCBcxzBQcIRg \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAAAKloFcBhhdGyKzvviR6WVaB_BbhxLs_iT0\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">Arash Azadegan<\/a> to support the department&#8217;s continued growth and excellence.<\/p>\n<p>With top-ranked undergraduate and graduate programs (recognized by <a class=\"RDDECzWVUCtXdYiVyDTvKDbKcYqCBcxzBQcIRg \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/gartner\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">Gartner<\/a> and <a class=\"RDDECzWVUCtXdYiVyDTvKDbKcYqCBcxzBQcIRg \" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/us-news-and-world-report\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">U.S. News &amp;
