The most significant and enduring impact Dr. Jin aspire to make in her life is through her students and their success. Her teaching and advising philosophy revolves around three core objectives:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Empowering students with the ability to apply disciplinary reasoning to the challenges and decisions they will encounter in their future careers.<\/li>\n
  2. Cultivating a diverse range of problem-solving and critical thinking skills in students, enhancing their employability and career success<\/li>\n
  3. Ensuring their understanding of the broader societal challenges and facilitating their ability to address emerging issues.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To accomplish these goals, Dr. Jin places a strong emphasis on two fundamental strategies in her dedication to teaching and student advising: integrating research into classroom instruction and fostering experiential and personalized learning experiences. These efforts lead to several educational research papers<\/a>. Dr. Jin was selected as the Provost Teaching Fellow of 2022-2023<\/a> at Rutgers University.<\/p>\n
