Rutgers will undertake several climate surveys that will assess the experiences of faculty, staff, and students at the university. By asking important questions, encouraging candor, respectfully listening to one another, and working together across units and campuses, we can make Rutgers a better place to work and learn, and it is part of our commitment to build and inspire a beloved community.<\/p>\n

Recent Surveys<\/h1>\n

Assessing Internal Communications at Rutgers Survey <\/strong><\/a>
\nTo help enhance the relevance and timeliness of universitywide communications, University Communications and Marketing (UCM) invited all faculty and staff to participate in a brief confidential survey<\/span>. The survey<\/span> aims to us understand how faculty and staff engage with messages from universitywide offices. Released on April 28, the survey was open until May 9, 2025.<\/p>\n

Academic and Workplace Behaviors and Environment Survey<\/a><\/strong>
\nThe first universitywide survey of faculty, part-time lecturers, staff, postdoctoral fellows and associates, and teaching and graduate assistants designed to help the university assess, prevent, and effectively respond to harassment among employees<\/span> launched on November 3, 2022, and closed on December 15, 2022. The survey results, recommendations, and university actions released<\/a> October 16, 2024.<\/p>\n

DEI Campus Climate Survey<\/strong><\/a>
\n<\/strong><\/em>The survey, which was only accessible via a personalized link sent by email to eligible students, faculty, and staff on March 20, 2023, closed on April 10, 2023. The survey responses were designed to help assess whether our diversity, equity, and inclusion values are reflected in the daily experiences of students, faculty, and staff in order to better understand the challenges of creating an environment that is respectful and inclusive for all.<\/p>\n

Is FlexWork@RU Working for You? Survey
\n<\/b><\/a>Faculty, staff, and students were asked to complete the survey to share initial experiences and perspectives on flexible work arrangements. The survey launched on Thursday, December 1, 2022, and remained open until Friday, December 16, 2022.<\/p>\n

Basic Needs Insecurity Among Rutgers Students: A Universitywide Survey\u00a0\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>
\nStudents enrolled in every chancellor-led unit across Rutgers were invited to participate in a survey on basic needs insecurities. The survey was conducted online from November 14, 2022, to December 14, 2022.<\/p>\n
