Jean-Francois Daneault, PhD

Professor

I obtained my BSc and MSc in Kinesiology at the University of Quebec in Montreal. I then completed a PhD in Neuroscience at McGill University and a postdoctoral fellowship in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School. My research focuses on developing and using technology to improve/optimize the care and health of individuals with chronic diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, dystonia, cerebral palsy, and stroke. My laboratory focuses on leveraging digital health and machine learning approaches to answer specific clinically-relevant questions. The long-term goal of my lab is to develop tools based on quantitative evidence to personalize interventions for individuals with neurological disorders.
