About Me
Welcome! I’m Hannah Younes. I graduated from University of Maryland, College Park in 2021 with a PhD in Geographical Sciences with concentrations in Transportation Planning & Engineering. During my graduate studies, I focused on sustainable, low-carbon transportation and vulnerable populations. My dissertation explored the potential of micromobility. I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Rutgers University from 2021 to 2024, working with Dr. Robert Noland and Dr. Clinton Andrews, focusing on a variety of transportation issues, including micromobility and crash detection. I am now a Senior Research Specialist at the Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers.
