Marc Limata

Assistant Dean

Marc Limata is the Assistant Dean of MBA Programs at Rutgers Business School. Mr. Limata has 15 years of higher education experience in various roles. At Rutgers Business School, he has seven years of experience mainly in student advising and leadership. He has held two previous roles before becoming Assistant Dean, which were Interim Manager of Academic Programs where he focused on graduate enrollment and rankings, and Assistant Director of the Full-Time MBA program which had a focus on student mentorship and retention. He also currently teaches Introduction to Marketing at Rutgers Business School along with the MBA First Year Experience course, and Introduction to Sociology, Principles of Advertising, and Introduction to Contemporary Business at Union College-NJ. He has taught Computer Applications for two years as an adjunct professor at Goodwin University. Mr. Limata’s primary responsibilities are to provide academic advisement, address academic concerns, support professional development, and host co-curricular activities, which include facilitating case competitions and academic workshops.

Mr. Limata holds a BS in Business Management and Criminal Justice from Central Connecticut State University, an MBA from Salve Regina University, an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, and a School Social Worker Certificate in New Jersey. Mr. Limata also has received a Mini-MBA Certificate from Rutgers Business School in Intergenerational Leadership, and a Marketing Analytics Certificate from Cornell University.
