Ph.D. candidate Bobby Kwait received funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to test the field efficacy and feasibility of using ultraviolet light to treat bat hibernacula infected with the fungus that causes white-nose syndrome.

Since 2021, the Ph.D. candidate has been tracking red foxes along the coast of New Jersey to better understand how they use the beaches and dunes of the state.

Ph.D. candidate Tyler Christensen received funding from the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife to study the habitat use, spatial ecology, and landscape connectivity of eastern copperheads in New Jersey.

Ph.D. candidate Erin McHale received a NJ Conservation Innovation Grant to study the effects of bats and barn swallows in suppressing pest insects on farms.

Ph.D. student Daniel Fisher received funding from the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife to survey bridges for roosting bats by sampling common architectural features for environmental DNA.
