Bandit

Bandit is a cat who thinks he’s a dog. He loves playing fetch (with springs), following his humans and brother around, and napping in your lap. Much to everyone’s chagrin, he is also particularly skilled at attacking feet.

Kismet

Kismet is Meredith’s original (and best) research assistant. His favorite research activity is Zoom-bombing research interviews when it’s close to dinner time. His non-work-related interests include laser, sleeping, and making sure we do everything on his terms.

Tobi

Tobi is a Korean village dog who loves to lounge in the backyard and watch the birds. His research interests are acorn caps, strange smells, and whatever anyone near him is eating. He particularly likes to yell at anyone (or anything) passing by his house during Zoom meetings.

Sam

Sam is a Golden Retriever who specializes in crashing Zoom meetings, as well as sleeping through them. His favorite pastimes include being a velcro dog, chasing birds in the yard, and scrounging for any fallen food or crumbs.

Nashville

Nashville, or Nash for short, is very committed to her nap schedule during the weekdays. While she mostly sleeps through Zoom meetings, she occasionally gets very interested in what is going on outside and will bark with excitement. Nash enjoys adventures on the weekends, including exploring parks and trails.

Cricket

Cricket is a cranky old lady who specializes in sleeping for 23 hours a day and silently menacing her sisters if they try to enter her personal space bubble. She enjoys sitting in the sink to cool off and often demands to be brushed while she does so.

Celerie

Celerie is a very small cat with a very big personality. She enjoys visitors, playing with string, and finding ways to sneak extra food out of the cabinet while nobody is looking. One time she bit a hole in the bottom of a full bag of kibble and ate all of it before anyone noticed.

Cucumber

Cucumber is the fluffiest cat on earth. She is very frightened of everything and demands to be comforted at all times. Her research interests include bedtime, catnip, and having her ears scratched.
