ou are cordially invited to enroll in Grant Writing that Works: Practical Skills for Winning Proposals, our new no cost, online, asynchronous grant writing course. This course is designed for NJ community-based organizations interested in securing grants to fund their work.
We estimate that this self-paced course will take approximately 10 hours to complete. Participants are expected to watch instructional videos, complete quizzes, and draft assignments designed to strengthen their grant writing skills. Our instructors have also included a wide range of supplemental materials, including optional readings, podcasts, bonus videos, and more!

Once you register and “complete your order” (again, the course is free), you will receive an email from Rutgers University saying, ‘Confirm Registration: Canvas.’ Clicking the link in the email will bring you to the Canvas webpage where you will be able to access the course.
Once you register, please follow these important instructions:
- When you get to the Canvas website, it will take you to your Canvas Dashboard.
- Please go to the menu on the left, select “Courses.”
- From there you will select “Grant Writing that Works: Practical Skills for Winning Proposals”
- After you have selected the course, it will bring you to the course Home page, which will provide instructions on how to move forward from there.
