Christina Suoto (2023-Present)

As an accelerated Master’s student, Christina’s interests lie in advancing the future of biomedical science and applying her experiences in research to her clinical work. Her goal is to one day attend medical school and become a physician. Currently, her thesis project focuses on quantifying cFOS expression in male and female mice to determine if there is a quantitative difference between the groups. In turn, she strives to develop a machine learning approach to improve immunohistochemistry cell quantifications. Outside of the lab, she can be found putting together new outfits, trying new food, and playing video games.
