We’re excited to invite you to participate in a new research study at Rutgers University aimed at improving health and wellness for adolescents with Down Syndrome.
What’s the study about?
We’re developing a mobile app called ThriveDS to help adolescents with Down Syndrome build healthy habits in exercise, nutrition, and sleep. Your feedback will help shape the app’s design and features to better support the unique needs of the DS community.
Who can participate?
We’re looking for:
- Adolescents and adults (14+) with Down Syndrome who live in the U.S. and speak English
- Parents of children aged 14–21 with Down Syndrome
What will you do?
Depending on your eligibility and availability, you may:
- Join a 1-hour online focus group
- Attend a 1-hour in-person design workshop
- Test an early version of the app
- Use the app at home for up to 3 months
- Participate in a feedback interview
What’s in it for you?
Participants will receive compensation for their time:
- $25 for virtual focus groups or interviews
- $50 for in-person workshops or beta testing.
