Today was the last session of the student seminar series on theoretical development in DFT and TDDFT.
It was a pleasure to meet you each week. We really enjoyed discovering and discussing the research work of students.
Some key figures of this first edition:
- 22h conference in 6 sessions
- 29 students presented their work
- 50+ research groups participated
- 200+ people attended the sessions
Thanks to the invited speakers, as well as the researchers who introduced them. This was maybe a first for some of you. Congratulations!
Many thanks to the postdoctoral fellows who chaired the sessions. Your help has been invaluable. Glad we shared this responsibility.
Thanks also to the supervisors for accepting our invitation and making their students and research group available.
Special thanks to Prof. Eberhard K. U. Gross and Prof. Kieron Burke for showing interest and encouraging the seminar series.
And last, but not least, thanks to Prof. Neepa Maitra for this wonderful idea. Always a pleasure to follow your lead.
We hope to see you again next year for a possible second edition.
Take care and stay tuned.
The (TD)DFT Student Seminar Series is brought to you by the Department of Physics, at Rutgers Newark, The State University of New Jersey.
