Edward (Eddie) Chuang is an INSPIRE postdoctoral fellow in the Driscoll Lab. Eddie grew up in Massachusetts and received his B.A. in Biochemistry and in Mathematics from Colby College in Waterville, ME. He then went on to complete his Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania where he studied the Hsp70, Hsp40, and Hsp110 chaperone proteins. He joined the Driscoll Lab in September 2020 and is currently studying the liquid-liquid phase separation and aggregation of exopher cargo proteins.
