Many Veterans from the 1990 – 1991 Gulf War suffer from chronic multisystem illnesses, called Gulf War Illness. Fatigue is one of the trademark symptoms of Gulf War Illness and is typically brought on by physical activity. Very little is currently understood about the delayed onset of fatiguing symptoms brought on by physical activity. The goal of this project is to learn more about the processes that causes these symptoms after exercise.
