Marissa Staffen is the 4-H Agent II and County Extension Department Head for Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Essex County. Her research interests include ways to empower youth to be change agents in their communities in terms of the environment and food systems. She works closely with 4H to develop and run programs for youth around New Jersey to immerse them in science fields from a young age.
