Fall 2025 Cohort
The Fall 2025 cohort focused on active science projects happening in the Rutgers Department of Plant Biology. Topics include various plants being researched and technologies being used to investigate them.
Each FAME student cohort produces numerous science video stories, created through our Science-in-Action Storytelling™ model and in our Immersive Learning through Science Storytelling Research Lab, featuring active research being conducted at Rutgers. The Fall 2025 cohort focused on active science projects happening in the Rutgers Department of Plant Biology. Topics include various plants being researched and technologies being used to investigate them.
The Spring 2025 cohort focused on active science projects happening in the Rutgers Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences. Topics include glider missions, hurricane research, marine food systems, coral research, and phytoplankton.
The Spring 2024 cohort focused on active science projects happening in the Rutgers Plant Biology Department. Topics include grapeseed, arabidopsis, amaranth, monkfruit, basil, ginseng, and ginger, and the cultural and medicinal importance of each of these plants.
The Spring 2024 cohort focused on active research on Amaranthus happening in the Rutgers Plant Biology Department. Topics include the effects of light on the plant, the colors expressed by the plant, the cultural importance of the plant, and the technologies being used to study the plant.
