Sabrina Subhit joined Rutgers Cooperative Extension in 2021. She assists on all levels with food waste related projects. She is a Registered Dietitian with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences and a master’s degree in public health. She has 5+ years of experience in the community nutrition field. Her previous experience includes providing resources to vulnerable and unserved populations. She completed her dietetic internship in NYC, where she further developed her knowledge and experience in community nutrition, clinical nutrition, and food service management. She is passionate about addressing health inequalities and advocating for food security and sustainability.
