Transporter Proteomics

The UNC-Chapel Hill Quantitative Targeted Proteomics (QTAP) Core specializes in the targeted quantification of peptides, and therefore transporter proteins, in biological matrices using LC-MS/MS. The analytical techniques employed by the core are nano- or microLC coupled to triple quadrupole mass spectrometry. We operate an M-Class Acquity coupled to a Triple Quadrupole 7500.

RESOLUTE

 

 

The RESOLUTE (Research Empowerment on Solute Carriers) project is a public-private partnership focused on intensifying global research on the human solute carrier (SLC) gene family to establish them as viable targets for drug discovery. The project provides an open-access knowledgebase and comprehensive datasets, including metabolic mapping and protein interactomes, to accelerate the functional characterization of these SLC transporters. DrugMAP

DrugMAP (Molecular Atlas and Pharma-information of drugs) is a comprehensive resource that systematically maps the interactions between over 30,000 drugs and pharmacologically critical molecules, including interactions with human drug transporters (DTPs) and their tissue-specific expression patterns. By integrating these drug-transporter interactions with ADME-relevant profiling across various organs and disease sites, the database provides a framework for clarifying pharmacokinetic mechanisms and accelerating AI-driven drug discovery.
