For La Casa’s Final Project, each student explored the story of a Latina or Caribbean woman in the United States by practicing and applying narrative inquiry methods. Through a scheduled interview with a person of their choice, students gained insight into a woman’s lived experiences, perspectives, and personal journey, while also developing ethical and culturally respectful research practices.

As part of the project, each interviewee was invited to share an item that holds a special meaning to their story. This website presents a virtual collage of these items, collectively representing the diverse and powerful narratives of Latina and Caribbean women.

During Douglass Discovery Day (April 27, 2026), we invite attendees to explore the virtual collage and engage with La Casa students by asking questions and learning more about the stories behind each piece.
