Our Computing Facilities
In the Landscape Architecture (LA) Department, students have access to two computer labs for teaching and studio work. Combined, our computer labs offer 32 Windows 11 PCs (9th generation i7 or 10th generation i9 processors, 16 or 32GB RAM, 4 or 6 GB graphics cards, 27” monitors).
Software
The LA Department provides Lumion, Rhino 8. The University provides licensing for ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Microsoft Office 365. Students access AutoDesk AutoCAD using free academic licensing. Lumion LiveSync for Rhino and ESRI ArcGIS Maps for AdobeCC add-ons are also available as well as Blender (open source 3D), major web browsers, desktop apps/clients for cloud storage and Google Earth Pro.
