Building on the success of its inaugural two years, the Rutgers Math Corps continues to follow the transformative educational and mentoring practices of the original Math Corps, which began in 1992 “as a humanitarian effort to simply help some kids in need.” Today, Math Corps has grown into a nationwide movement, changing students’ lives across the country. With its unique “kids teaching kids” model and a strong sense of family rooted in kindness, integrity, and courage, the Rutgers Math Corps is more than just an academic program — it’s a celebration of potential and community.
