Art & Design

Our summer Art & Design Intensives take place in the art studios and computer labs of Mason Gross School of the Arts, located in the vibrant Civic Square Building in downtown New Brunswick. These programs are suitable for students rising 5th to rising 12th grade that consider themselves “The Everyday Artist” as well as students interested in College Prep.

The Rutgers Summer Dance Conservatory offers students specialized, rigorous and age-appropriate mentorship by Mason Gross School of the Arts faculty and alumni. This programs is best suited for students interested in audition and College Prep and that are rising 9th through rising 12th grades. Audition required.

Our filmmaking programs are designed to give students a realistic look at the world of film production from various aspects. These programs are best suited for students that consider themselves “The Everyday Artist” and also for those looking for College Prep that are rising 10th through rising 12th grades.

Music

Summer music intensives feature a rigorous, collegiate-level experience led by Mason Gross School of the Arts faculty and renowned musicians. A residential option allows high school students an early taste of on-campus college life. These programs are available for students rising 7th through rising 12th grades and are interested in College Prep. Audition for placement required.

Led by Mason Gross Theater Department faculty and alumni, the Rutgers Summer Acting Conservatory is a four-week training program offering rigorous study for rising actors who are interested in College Prep.This program is best suited for rising 10th to rising 12th grades. Audition & interview required.
