Research interests: 

  • Topical and transdermal drug delivery using different formulations, e.g. hydrogel, nanogel, polymeric film, patch etc.
  • Understanding the mechanism of action of penetration enhancers
  • Development of animal model of wound and bacterial skin infections
  • Diffusion studies of different drugs with/without permeation enhancers across human skin and their equivalents
  • Applications of phytochemicals in the treatment of wound infections
